“round em up, put them in a pen…keep an eye on them boys…we don’t want ‘em mixin’…” I Google-mapped Muslim neighborhoods in the U.S. I couldn’t find any. So this begs the question, how do you patrol non-neighborhoods? Is it a house, two houses? Does law enforcement just park outside a house that houses one of the “them” families waiting for any signs of radicalization taking place? No, Ted, this is not a great use of law enforcement by any stretch of the imagination. Even Trump is caught up in this insanity as well. Both “candidates” are barking I guess at the moon. I can also see people nodding in agreement with what these dangerous and maybe deranged individuals have proposed without thinking the whole thing through. They seem to be affected with that fact-eversion malady that’s going around. They say that Cruz is an excellent debater but recently he’s said some crazy sh*t and the “angry” mob is buying it.
I hope sane people get it and I hope they will turn out in the general election and go with the person with experience and a level head, you know, someone who’s knee doesn’t jerk him in a crazy direction when something bad happens. You know, someone who maybe is wrong every once in a while and admits it. Just saying President Trump or President Cruz out loud should be enough to have hopeful people vote for the other guy/girl. Whatever happened to the party of Lincoln or Eisenhower? It is not even a shade of it’s former self. Not even close.
…because he has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord. (Lk 4:16 ff)
Today is a day of humility, of equality where there is no “us/them” mentality. There is no bunker just for us and no one else. There is hope. There’s always hope.
and so it goes…
