Monday- The Week of the Wedding

Mom and Sarah

This is very short. We left Menlo Park at 4.15 am this morning and arrived 12 hours later in Portland. Needless to say I am knackered. I drove through the Weed, CA area very very very slowly. Didn’t see one CHP. Sean took over the driving from Rogue River to Portland.

Watched my kid in action as the Assistant General Manager at the new Laurelwood Pub  in the Southeast section of Portland. Very professional and wonderful to watch her in action with her employees and the public.

Spent the evening hanging and chatting with Andy (future son-in-law) in the backyard with Kathy and Sean. Not sure what I was talking about because I was sleep-talking. Good night. More tomorrow…

and so it goes…

A little song, a little dance, a little coffee down your pants... 40 years in the high school classroom and now on my own. A chance to think about stuff and how it affects everyone, not just me. Now residing in Oregon volunteering for a refugee organization.
