WTF?
I’m going to Disneyland! Well not really. There’s work to be done, lots of work to be done. Are we up to it? I hope so. Ignatius Loyola urges us to “presume good will” of people, at least until they prove differently. Forget ’94. Forget even Tuesday for a moment and regroup for a second or two. In spite of the last two years of the vicious denigration of Democrats by Republicans, we have to work together to get things done now more than ever. With the House turned Red and the Senate still safely in responsible hands, it will be a tough job. As a people we cannot afford to allow backwards movement, undoing what has been done to the detriment of moving this country forward. We all know what happened with the Reds in charge the last time, corporations prospered and the rest of us lost jobs overseas, freedoms that we cherished were eroded by the passage of the patriot act and other draconian laws and the corporatists on the Supreme court slowly turned away from the good of the people in favor of business. We cannot let that happen again. Write your “new” congressman(woman) and demand that their first priority is to bring the jobs shipped overseas back to the U.S. We need to restore our prominence in the world as a beacon of liberty and equality under the law. It is our right and our duty until sanity is restored. In the meantime, I’m going to presume good-will on the newly elected House members and the few new Senators, that they will not waste our time with dumb hearings and tackle the problems facing us…

and so it goes…
