As a public service to my readers I want to let you know that today (or early this morning) the Harvest moon was closest to the autumnal equinox, which is when the sun sets due west and rises due east. And for the first time since 1991, these two events coincided in the wee hours of Thursday, in the northern hemisphere. This year’s equinox will not fall at the same time as the harvest moon again until 2029… Strange but true…but aren’t you glad you know now?

On a lighter note…Here are some unanswered questions to ponder this strange Thursday from the Ask Jeeves website. See if you can answer them. The site is set up for you to ask weighty questions…the following seem to have no answers. Yes, some things are still a mystery to the world of algorhythms.

1. What is the meaning of life?

2. Is there a God?

3. Do blondes have more fun?

4. What is the best diet?

5. Is there anybody out there?

6. Who is the most famous person in the world?

7. What is love?

8. What is the secret to happiness?

9. Did Tony Soprano die?

10. How long will I live?

and so it goes….
