a little too creepy

Yeah, I know, it sounds like an “Onion” headline but I can’t make this stuff up. It’s too funny and deadly serious at the same time. Well not completely serious, I mean, really? Well sometimes when we say something, even years ago, it comes back to bite us right smack dab on the tush. Seems that Hans Zeiger, a Republican who hopes to join Washington State’s House of Representatives had said it and is scrambling to erase any evidence of his statement before it gets out. Too late Hans (is that even an American name?? sounds a little Nazi-ish to me.)

As he said:

One might wonder why the Girl Scouts have been spared the painful attacks that have been launched upon the Boy Scouts by the Left in recent years. The reasons are simple: the Girl Scouts allow homosexuals and atheists to join their ranks, and they have become a pro-abortion, feminist training corps. … If the Girl Scouts of America can’t get back to teaching real character, perhaps it will be time to look for our cookies elsewhere.”

How fun is that. True he is definitely an ideologue like most of his ilk and is trying to distance himself from his more over the top statements, says he still has concerns for the integrity of the Girl Scouts. That’s great Hans. Although this issue about “infiltration” of the scouts by 8 year-old god-less feminists will probably not come up before the Washing State legislature, public schools might. He has some definite stands on that issue as well.

I spent most of my K-12 education at my local government indoctrination center. I was also home schooled during the seventh and eighth grades. The corridors and classrooms of the modern public school are so polluted with the filth of moral relativism that the typical public high school graduate moves into the world devoid of character, conscience or courage.

Fresh air finally from a politician. As one responder to the “News Tribune” website said:

Wow. I bet he would have gotten more of a reaction to his speech he gave at the Puyallup High School graduation ceremony a few months ago had he quoted himself instead of delivering his snoozer of a speech . I can hear it in my mind: And so class of 2010, I send you off into the world today devoid of character, conscience or courage after 4 years of indoctrination at Puyallup High School, a fetid place polluted with the filth of moral relativism.

Is this what they mean by “taking our country back?” Anyone want “Thin Mint” cookies?

and so it goes… See you Monday and pray for San Bruno!
